Chevron, Kinder Morgan Intervene in Sabine Pass Liquefaction Proceeding at FERC
Chevron U.S.A. Inc. has filed a request to intervene and comments in the Sabine Pass LNG export proceeding at FERC. In its filing, Chevron argues that FERC should decide several jurisdictional questions in a declaratory order. The filing is available in FERC’s eLibrary under Docket No. RP11-2127.
Separately, Kinder Morgan Louisiana Pipeline LLC also submitted a request to intervene and comments on the Sabine Pass LNG export proposal. Kinder Morgan notes that in the application filed by Sabine Pass, the LNG project developers stated that they were in negotiations with Kinder Morgan. However, Kinder Morgan disputes the description of these discussions and requests that FERC order Sabine Pass Liquefaction to provide Kinder Morgan with additional information regarding the project.
