Cheniere and Gas Natural Fenosa Sign MOU for LNG Processing at Sabine Pass Facility

Yesterday Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. and Gas Natural Fenosa announced that they have agreed to a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that would grant Gas Natural Fenosa 1.5 Mtpa of bi-directional LNG processing capacity at the Sabine Pass LNG facility. The agreement is contingent upon a number of conditions precedent, including Cheniere securing the necessary regulatory approvals and eventually constructing the necessary liquefaction equipment. This announcement follows a similar agreement between Cheniere and ENN Energy Trading.
