The Jamestown Town Council has approved $5,000 in funding for the Congress of Councils that the town will host on September 8, 2010, to address concerns with the Weaver’s Cove LNG project. A representative of the Jamestown LNG Threat Committee told council members that four neighboring town councils already have indicated that they will attend.
