Alaskan Governor Offers Conditional Support for Continued Exports from Kenai LNG

Last week Alaska Gov. Sean Parnell’s administration offered its conditional support for the application filed by ConocoPhillips and Marathon Oil to continue exporting LNG from the Kenai liquefaction facility. The Administration stated in its comments to the U.S. Dept. of Energy that it supports continued exports if “local utility gas supply needs are met, particularly during times of shortage, under terms that protect Alaskans’ interests.” Read more in the Anchorage Daily News.
