FERC Approves Minor Design Modifications for Cove Point LNG Pier Reinforcement Project

Yesterday FERC approved a number of minor modifications to the design for the Pier Reinforcement Project underway at the Cove Point LNG terminal. FERC’s approval letter notes that the “modifications are necessary to adjust for shoreline sand shifts that occurred since the design phase.” The letter authorizing the design modifications is available in the eLibrary under Docket No. CP09-60.
