Peruvian LNG Supplies Could Go to Canaport Regasification Terminal

Upstream Online reports that some LNG from the Peru LNG liquefaction facility is likely to be directed to the Canaport LNG import terminal in New Brunswick, Canada, in the coming weeks. A spokesperson for Repsol YPF stated that the Peruvian LNG supplies could reach Canaport either directly or through swap transactions. Much of Peru LNG’s output is expected to be delivered to the Manzanillo LNG import terminal in Mexico, but that facility is not completed yet.
