Oregon DEQ Hosts Meeting on Bradwood Landing LNG Project

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) hosted a public meeting this week to hear testimony from local residents and answer questions about the Bradwood Landing LNG terminal. The Daily Astorian reports that approximately 200 people attended the meeting and that at least sixty members of the public offered comments about the project. An official with NorthernStar Natural Gas, the developer of the Bradwood Landing LNG project, offered a ten-minute presentation summarizing the Bradwood Landing application to DEQ and explaining the Salmon Enhancement Initiative that would offset some of the environmental impacts of the project.
