Nina DeConcini, Northwest region administrator for Oregon’s Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), told The Oregonian that her agency needs additional information before it can make a decision on Bradwood Landing LNG’s water quality permit application. Specifically, DEQ has requested three-dimensional modeling of the Columbia River before making its decision on the permit. DEQ will host a public meeting next week to accept comments on the project.
