NMFS Official: Agency Not Required to Meet FERC’s Deadline for Review of Bradwood Landing LNG

Cathy Tortorici, a division chief with the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), told the Daily Astorian that her agency is not required to meet a March 8, 2010 deadline to submit its findings on threatened or endangered species that could be affected by the Bradwood Landing LNG project. Tortorici noted that the agency likely would take more than 135 days to complete its analysis of the Bradwood Landing LNG proposal because the project is so complex.
