The Baltimore Sun reports that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit will hear oral arguments today regarding Sparrows Point LNG’s Petition for Review of the Maryland Department of the Environment’s (MDOE) denial of a water quality certification for the LNG proposal. The MDOE denied the certification because Sparrows Point LNG did not provide an adequate plan for disposing of the spoils from dredging in Baltimore Harbor.
