Several producers of Marcellus Shale gas told the Platts Oil and Gas Shale Developer Conference yesterday that they do not believe potential competition with U.S. LNG imports will delay development of Marcellus projects. One developer noted that U.S. LNG import levels have been unpredictable in recent years, causing difficulties in modeling the effects of LNG imports on the U.S. gas market.
