Oregon Gov. Pledges to Challenge FERC’s Authorization of Bradwood Landing LNG in Court

The Associated Press (carried via The Oregonian) reports that Gov. Ted Kulongoski (D-Ore.) has promised to challenge FERC’s conditional authorization of the Bradwood Landing LNG regasification project in federal court, following a FERC order released yesterday denying a rehearing on the matter. Business and labor officials spoke out in support of the latest FERC order. “When it receives final approval, Bradwood Landing will be a shot in the arm to our ailing Oregon economy, as well as a foundation for a more secure energy future in the Northwest,” said the executive director of Energy Action Northwest, Edward Finklea.
