Canaport LNG May Reconsider Applying for No-Fly Zone

The Telegraph-Journal (New Brunswick, Canada) reports that Canaport LNG is considering whether to apply for a no-fly zone surrounding its site. According to a Canaport LNG spokesperson, the company has “not made the decision whether or not we will make application” for the air traffic security zone. Citing operational security concerns, an official with the New Brunswick Department of Public Safety expressed confidence that “working with Transport Canada and Canaport LNG will result in a safe and secure operation” at the Canaport facility.
