National Park Service Requests Supplemental Environmental Review of Bradwood Landing LNG

In a letter sent to FERC, the National Park Service recommends that FERC should prepare a Supplemental Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed Bradwood Landing LNG import terminal. Specifically, the letter notes that the environmental impacts of improving the access road to the proposed terminal site, potential impacts to the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, and effects on “visual resources” were not adequately addressed in the previously issued FEIS and should be included in a supplemental environmental review. The letter is available in the FERC eLibrary under Docket No. CP06-365, and the Daily Astorian offers additional details.
