A bill proposed by Democratic State Rep. Dave Sullivan that would required a 5,000-foot distance between an LNG tank and homes, schools, hospitals, and retirement communities was passed out of committee this week. Representative Sullivan told the Fall River Herald News (Mass.) that he is not sure if the bill will be considered by the full House this week or early next week.
