U.S. House Committee to Vote on Measure Designating Parts of the Taunton River as “Wild and Scenic”

According to the Boston Herald, the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee is expected to vote today on a measure that would designate a portion of the Taunton River, near Fall River, Mass., as “wild and scenic.” The legislation, introduced by Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), could affect the proposed site for the Weaver’s Cove LNG project.
