Canadian Superior Chairman Greg Noval said yesterday that the government of Trinidad & Tobago, a potential supplier for the recently proposed Liberty offshore LNG project, has been asked “to participate” in the project. Separately, Roger Whelan, CEO of project sponsor Excalibur, told Platts LNG Daily [subscription required] that Trinidad & Tobago is not the only potential source of LNG supply for the project, as northern and western African liquefaction facilities could also provide LNG.
