Weaver’s Cove to Present LNG Offloading Plan at Meeting
On Wednesday, April 23, Weaver’s Cove Energy officials will present publicly their proposed LNG tanker offloading plan at a Mount Hope Bay, Mass., Board of Selectmen meeting. The revised plan calls for LNG to be transported four miles by pipeline from Mount Hope Bay to storage tanks in Fall River rather than being unloaded in Fall River, a plan that the Coast Guard determined to be unsafe. The Providence Journal (Mass.) has more details.
