Mexican Power Company Defends Manzanillo LNG Contract

Last week, the Mexican Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) defended its decision to award the Manzanillo LNG supply contract to a Repsol subsidiary. According to a former candidate for the Mexican presidency, there were some irregularities in the Manzanillo LNG supply tender process. The CFE claims that it will save more than $1.5 billion over 15 years under the terms of the supply contract. Read more in Energy Current.
