Connecticut Officials Hold Rally Against Broadwater LNG Proposal

A number of elected officials from Connecticut, including State Attorney General Richard Blumenthal (D), U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D), and U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney (D), participated in a rally that called on Gov. David Paterson (D-N.Y.) to reject the proposed Broadwater LNG import terminal. Sec. of State Susan Bysiewicz (D) told the New Haven Independent that Paterson’s decision is expected to be released either Wednesday or Thursday.
