Officials Look to Straighten Road to Proposed Bradwood Landing LNG Site

The Daily Astorian reported yesterday that Clatsop County, Ore., officials are considering taking steps to straighten the road leading to the proposed site of the Bradwood Landing LNG facility, which currently may not be suitable for emergency response vehicles. A variance to be considered by the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners currently states a preference for a larger radius for turn 5 on Clifton Road, but the county may be willing to compromise if the set goal is unattainable. The Board of Commissioners is scheduled to vote on the Bradwood Landing consolidated land-use application on March 20, 2008.
