Mass. Senators Urge More Funding for Gloucester Port Security

U.S. Senators John Kerry (D) and Ted Kennedy (D) of Massachusetts sent a letter to the Secretary of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff, to advocate for $1 million in federal port security funds for the city of Gloucester. The Senators cited two LNG deepwater ports located within 13 miles of the town and other nearby infrastructure in their letter.
