Kenai LNG Hopeful Export License Extension Will Be Granted in First Quarter

Kenai LNG liquefaction plant manager Lindsey Clark told the Nikiski Chamber of Commerce last week that opposition to a request for an extension of the plant owner’s LNG export license is waning, noting that intervenors Tesoro and Enstar have withdrawn their opposition. Clark also told the Chamber of Commerce that the company is “cautiously optimistic” about receiving an extension from the U.S. Department of Energy this quarter.
