Port Officials Concerned that Security Measures for Bradwood Landing LNG Could Create Shipping Delays

Larry Paulson, executive director of the Port of Vancouver, told the Longview Daily News that he is concerned that security measures established for the proposed Bradwood Landing LNG terminal could result in shipping delays. Similarly, Port of Longview director Ken O’Halloren said that “we [need] to better understand the impact of [LNG] vessel traffic on our existing customers.” A spokesperson for Bradwood Landing LNG developer NorthernStar Natural Gas said that the company has developed a “traffic management plan” with help from shippers, pilots, and the affected ports.
