Broadwater Proposal Awaits “Crucial” Decision

The New York Times reports that the New York State Department of State plans to announce on February 12 whether it finds the proposed Broadwater LNG project consistent with the state’s Coastal Zone Management Act plan. Additionally, a spokesman for New York Governor Eliot Spitzer (D) said that the decision will be followed by a formal statement on the project by the governor, whose position remains unknown.
