According to an editorial published by the Daily Astorian, Oregon Governor Ted Kulongoski (D-Ore.) ought to publicly oppose the LNG import terminals proposed for the Columbia River following the release of draft comments by state agencies detailing concerns with the projects. The editorial says that no state official can argue more effectively than Gov. Kulongoski against the proposals and his personal opposition would “add an important dimension to the drive to inject realism into a deeply flawed siting process.”
