Canadian Firm Contemplates LNG Projects for Far North

Reuters reports that Petro-Canada is contemplating transporting natural gas in northern reserves to market via LNG vessels. Speaking to a company-sponsored conference, Petro-Canada chief executive Ron Brenneman said that the company has “formed a small team to start looking at the feasibility of [northern liquefied natural gas projects].” However, Brenneman noted that “it’s early days yet.”
