Citing a Rabaska LNG project manager, Martin Imbleau, Reuters reports that Gazprom may join the project as an LNG supplier once investment levels are finalized for the Shtokman and Baltic LNG projects. Imbleau also suggested that Canadian destinations could be more attractive than American terminals for Gazprom because Canadian ports are closer to Russian liquefaction facilities.
