Downeast LNG will temporarily withdraw its application for state permits and re-file at a later date, Bangor Daily News reports. Downeast LNG president Dean Girdis stated that the application was missing critical data from the Maine Department of Marine Resources, as well as other studies, and that Downeast needed more time to negotiate the route for the connecting pipeline.
