Powerful Storms Hit Gulf LNG Terminals, But No Major Damage

Hurricane Dean hit Altamira LNG terminal, located south of Tampico, Mexico, last week but failed to cause any significant damage. The storm, rated at Category 2 when it reached Altamira LNG, is the latest storm to hit an LNG regasification terminal in the Gulf of Mexico, but so far all the terminals have emerged largely undamaged.
