FERC Issues DEIS on Bradwood Landing LNG Proposal

FERC today released its Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Bradwood Landing LNG regasification terminal proposed by NorthernStar Natural Gas. FERC Staff concluded that although the terminal and associated pipeline infrastructure “has the potential for limited significant environmental impacts,” the mitigation measures proposed by NorthernStar, along with additional measures recommended by FERC Staff, would “substantially reduce the environmental impact of the project.” The DEIS is available under Docket No. CP06-365 in FERC’s eLibrary.
