CEO: TransCanada Expects FERC Approval for Pipeline Soon

Business News Americas (carried via LexisNexis) reports that TransCanada CEO Henry Morse, Jr., expects the company to receive FERC approval for its planned expansion of its North Baja pipeline. The new pipeline will transport gas to California from Sempra’s Costa Azul LNG import terminal currently under construction. Morse also noted that TransCanada has received all other necessary state and local permits for the project. [Subscription required]
