Study Simulates LNG Tanker Traversing Head Harbour Passage

The Telegraph-Journal (New Brunswick, Canada) reports that the results of a series of computer simulations of LNG carriers traversing the Head Harbour Passage suggest it may be possible for LNG ships to move through the channel safely. The study, performed by Marine Safety International and paid for by Downeast LNG, collected data on 25 simulated voyages over a span of five days and included first-hand accounts of experienced local ship pilots
