Oxnard Officials Meet with CA Governor’s Office
Elected officials from Oxnard, Calif., met yesterday with top aides to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R), voicing their opposition to the Cabrillo Port LNG terminal proposal. Citing other large-scale industrial projects in Oxnard, Mayor Tom Holden said “enough is enough.” The Ventura County Star reports that the governor has until May 21 to decide on the project and, despite two recent adverse decisions by other state agencies, his spokesperson said that he has not reached a decision on the matter.
