Shell U.S. Gas and Power yesterday announced that it will not go forward with its proposed Gulf Landing LNG terminal off the Louisiana coast. According to the project director, market conditions have obviated the need for the terminal. Shell will instead continue to seek capacity rights at other import facilities.
