One Month U.S. LNG Import Record Broken

According to data collected by Pan EurAsian Enterprises from gas pipeline operators, the 66 Bcf of natural gas imported through the five U.S. LNG terminals through March 25 exceeds the previous record import volume for one month (December 2004, 63.6 Bcf). The largest importer of LNG into the U.S. is BG Group through the Elba Island and Trunkline terminals. The second largest is Suez through the Everett terminal. [Subscription required]
