Citing unnamed sources, Newsday reports that New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer is generally supportive of the proposed Broadwater LNG terminal in Long Island Sound. However, according to his spokesperson, Spitzer wants to review analysis conducted by the New York Dept. of State and FERC’s draft environmental impact statement before making official statements regarding his position on the project.
