Until a hearing takes place on the matter, a federal judge has barred enforcement of a new Baltimore County law that could prevent the development of AES’ proposed Sparrows Point LNG terminal. AES filed a federal lawsuit earlier this month attempting to overturn the law, which adds LNG facilities to the list of prohibited uses in environmentally sensitive areas of Chesapeake Bay.
