FERC Approves Proposed Cameron LNG Terminal Expansion

In an order issued on January 18, FERC approved the proposed expansion of Sempra’s Cameron LNG terminal. The proposal calls for an increase in regasification capacity from 1.5 Bcf/d to 2.65 Bcf/d, as well as the construction of a fourth 160,000 m3 storage tank.  FERC also authorized the potential use of alternative technology to process gas capable of meeting uniform pipeline specifications.
