Sempra Official Remains Optimistic Despite Delays in Liquefaction Projects

Sempra Energy is reevaluating its LNG terminal proposals in light of supply uncertainties stemming from delays in liquefaction projects abroad, Sempra chairman and CEO Donald Felsinger said during a Nov. 2 conference call. However, Felsinger added that he remains optimistic “about the impact that LNG will have, not only in North America but in Europe and Asia,” saying that such delays are inevitable considering the scope, magnitude and politics of major LNG investment projects. SNL Interactive has the story.
