In an effort to reduce reliance on oil imports from the Middle East, President Bush has emphasized the need for additional U.S. LNG import terminals. “There’s a lot of natural gas in the world, and it makes sense for us to be in a position to receive that natural gas in order to make sure you’ve got energy in your home,” Bush said during a renewable energy conference in St. Louis.
