Forum Organizer Urges Politicians to Express Views Regarding Bradwood Landing Project

Candidates for Washington’s state legislature voiced concern regarding NorthernStar Natural Gas’ proposed LNG terminal during a public forum held on Wednesday; the forum’s organizer urged all politicians to “get off the fence and decide one way or the other.” Additionally, Michael Messmore, the republican challenger to U.S. Rep. Brian Baird (D-Wash.), expressed his opposition to the proposed terminal, noting that it was a “federal issue” that must be addressed in congressional races. Baird has expressed concern over the project, but has not publicly opposed it. The Daily News (Longview, Wash.) has the story.
