Hollywood celebrities and surfers yesterday convened to protest BHP Billiton’s plan to construct an LNG terminal offshore California. “We have to use our voices and band together and stop this,” said Halle Berry. Pierce Brosnan, who hosted the event, said he also plans to oppose the other LNG projects proposed for the state. The Long Beach Press-Telegram provides local coverage.
