Sempra May Delay Construction On Port Arthur Terminal

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports that Sempra Energy may postpone construction on its proposed LNG terminal in Port Arthur, Texas, for one year due to its inability to secure supply for the facility. However, Sempra LNG chief executive Darcel Hulse maintains that decreased natural gas prices and the Energy Information Administration’s report of increased storage levels do not remove the need for LNG import facilities.
