Mexico’s Altamira LNG terminal yesterday received its first LNG cargo, according to a press release. “We are proud to have reached today’s milestone safely, on-time and within budget, and we now look forward to the successful completion of the commissioning phase and the start of commercial operations,” said Mateo Lopez-Colome, managing director of the Altamira LNG terminal. The shipment, which Shell brought in from the Nigeria LNG plant, is also the first LNG cargo ever delivered to Mexico.
