Sempra’s Costa Azul Construction 40 Percent Complete

Construction of Sempra’s Energia Costa Azul LNG terminal in Baja California, Mexico is 40 percent complete now that a roof has been placed on the second of two storage tanks, according to Sempra LNG president Darcel Hulse, who met with business executives and media officials at the construction site to discuss the project. In nearby Ensenada, workers currently are building the breakwater that will serve as a protective barrier for the LNG vessels when offloading the LNG. Construction on the facility is slated for completion by 2008. The San Diego Union-Tribune has the report.
