Natural Gas Industry Groups Call for Pipeline-Specific Approach to Gas Quality

The Interstate Natural Gas Association of America and the American Gas Association are calling for a “pipeline-by-pipeline” approach to addressing gas quality and interchangeability matters instead of a uniform national policy. In a joint statement submitted to FERC last week, the organizations supported pipeline-specific evaluations of hydrocarbon liquid dropout and heat specifications.
