According to Norway’s TORP Technology, the U.S. Coast Guard acknowledged receipt of the company’s complete application to develop Bienville Offshore Energy Terminal 63 miles south of Alabama. The terminal, which is scheduled to come online in 2009, would have a maximum send-out capacity of 1.4 Bcf/d. The Coast Guard’s Notice of Application begins the EIS process.
