The Boston Herald editorial staff questions why lawmakers are “stonewalling on a responsible plan to boost the region’s supply of LNG” by delaying an up-or-down vote on the bill to de-designate Outer Brewster Island as part of the harbor islands park system. According to the staff, the bill would pave the way for an LNG facility on an “underutilized resource … far from any populated areas … for the benefit of the entire region.” [Free registration necessary]
