Critics of Washington Gas Light’s proposal to construct an LNG storage tank in Chillum, Md. say they will continue the fight despite the failure of legislation that would have blocked the project. The Gazette reports that opponents plan to move their fight to the county level after the two bills intended to stop construction died in committee on Monday, which was the last day of the legislative session. “We’re not going to stop just because the session’s out,” Del. Anne Healey (D-Dist. 22) of Hyattsville.
